Marsala – PCP

Yesterday was a day full of ups and downs.

The day began with the away match of our Allievi Team against their peers of Renzo Lo Piccolo team.
The result of the match was 6-0. Don’t worry lads this is just the first match of the championship, our boys will be able to make up for it. Unfortunately, there were not the supporters who were traveling to Marsala with the First Squad.

At 11.30 the Giovanissimi team played their away match against the Conca D’Oro Monreale. Brilliant performance and great goal scored by Fabrizio Miceli that gives the victory to the Popolari. Worth mentioning is the fact that there were the Allievi Team on the stand supporting the Giovanissimi by playing the drums and chanting, thus helping them to gain their victory. Well done lads!

The First Squad played in Marsala and unfortunately lost 2-0. It was a strange game. We attacked for 90 minutes but we couldn’t score. The Home team scored after 5 minutes and doubled at the end of the 90 minutes of the game. Even though for the main part of the second half we played in 10, we kept attacking but we were not able to score. Despite this loss, though, we are first in the chart along with the Salemi team. Many supporters of Popolari were on the stands of Strasatti Stadium.
